Training Outline:
The aim of the course is not only to deepen the Brainspotting skills acquired during the Phase 1 training, but also to equip the trainees with new, sophisticated ways of working with clients.
The Brainspotting Phase 2 training will begin with an overview of the Inside / Outside Window Brainspotting and Gazespotting. We will cover the essential foundation of Brainspotting therapy, such as Dual Attunement Frame and the Uncertainty Principle.
Trainees will learn exciting ways of working with Z-Axis – added 3rd Dimension, including Convergence therapy, which stimulates the vagus nerve through the ocularcardiac reflex.
Additional techniques such as Rolling Brainspotting or Advanced Induced Gazespotting will be presented. With an exclusive focus on one eye, we will be using goggles which are going to be provided for the trainees before the training.
The Advanced Resource Model will be taught on the last day of the training. This set up can be used for the optimal processing when working with some of the most vulnerable clients.
The training will be led by Monika Gos, a Chartered Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and an international Brainspotting trainer.
In order to take this course, Phase 1 of Brainspotting training completion is required.
This training is fully credited towards certification.
